My family and I have tried so many
of the recipes in this wonderful cookbook!
I have tried gluten free box cake, cookie, pancake
mixes. I have not been happy with any of them and
my family will not eat them. The store bought mixes
fall apart, are dry and grainy feeling and they
must be eaten on the day they are made.
Using the Sensitive Chef recipes, making up the dry
ingredients in advance has been a time saver. All
the finished products are great the next day, too.
And they do well from the freezer!
Kudos to The Sensitive Chef! |

I was thirteen years old when I was diagnosed
with Celiac Disease. I had to accept that I could
never go out with my friends for pizza and I would
have to read food labels for the rest of my
life.
I got sick of eating rice cakes that tasted
like compressed packing peanuts and disgusting
store bought, gluten-free bread. The recipes in
The Sensitive Chef Cookbook tasted like the
wheat food that I used to eat.
My favorite recipes include the Double Delight
Chocolate Cake, Cream Puffs, Amaranth
Tortillas, Flatbread, and the Chocolate Chip
Cookies.

I was amazed the first time I tried
a recipe from The Sensitive Chef Cookbook. In
fact, I cried because I was so hungry and the
food actually tasted really good.
I had given up on the idea that I would ever taste
"normal" food again and that I would have to eat
"cardboard bread" for the rest of my life. Also, I
thought I would never again be able to enjoy my
favorite foods like breads, muffins, pizza and
desserts.
It was the recipes in this cookbook that changed my
mind about gluten free foods. Some of my favorite
recipes from this book include Pizza, of course.
That was the one food that I really missed and the
first time I tried the recipe, I cried because it
turned out and it was so delicious. I had been so
depressed because I thought I would never enjoy
eating again...until I got this cookbook. |

I am seven years old. When I
was six, I found out that I couldn't
eat gluten anymore, I was sad because I
loved the cookies from the store and the cakes
that my grandma made.
My mommy started making
recipes from The Sensitive Chef Cookbook for me
and I loved everything she
made.
I especially love the
Flatbread
that she
makes into buns, the
Brownies
,
the Pizza, Chocolate
Chip
Cookies
and
Blueberry-Cheese
Muffins.

I am
not on a wheat or gluten free diet,
however the recipes in The Sensitive Chef
are fantastic! They are delicious and
easy to
make.
I have
made the Cheesy
Bread and
Brownies
on
several
occasions.
My
friends are always surprised to hear they
are wheat and gluten
free.
